Balance Project (1995-1997)


Community Initiative NOW II (European Social Fund).

Fundación Directa was in charge of the design and project implementation. Its objective was to equip the unemployed Andalusian women with tools in order to successfully tackle their own development of professional career, taking advantage of the market niches which offer new technologies, tele-work and to effectively incorporate themselves in the new information society.

Andalucía en e-Igualdad (2002-2004)

 

EQUAL Community Initiative (European Social Fund).

Fundación Directa was responsible for the design and general coordination of this project, in which 10 public and private organisations from the Andalusian Region participated (Andalusian Employment Service, University of Seville, Province Delegation of Cordoba and Seville, Businesswomen Associations of Seville and Cadiz, among others.)

World-wide Summit on IS (2006-2007)


Participant of the “Civil Society” Group which was part of the Summit Work Groups. Co-author of the book “Information Society of the 21st Century, challenge for the development”, in the areas of electronic education and inclusion.

 

e-igualdad (2006-2007)

 

"e-igualdad: Building the Information Society with and for women".

This project was carried out within the framework of the “Plan Avanza” (Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade) and dealt with the themes of Information Society and Gender Equality in public, social and business agenda by means of three activity lines:

Contigo SI (2006-2008)

 

'Contigo SI: Rural Women on Information Society'

This project was implemented within the framework of “Plan Avanza” (Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade) and was addressed to rural women to facilitate their knowledge and capacities to make use of e-services. Furthermore it aimed to increase the utilization of existing public utility spaces (tele-centres).
