Pedagogical distributed group care, PED-CARE (2001-2002)


Transnational project within the Fifth Framework Programme of the European Commission in the themes of Research and Technological Development.

The project was aimed at intelligent management of the resources in tele-training services with the presence of 11 organisations from Spain, Greece, Sweden, Italy, Holland and France, including IT enterprises, education institutions and final beneficiaries. From Spain, other than Fundación Directa, the following organisations were present: SDB (Software de Base S.A.), Amena and UNED (National University of Distance Learning).

The main objective of the project was to develop new methodology – technologic tools – for the improvement of the relations between students and teachers through the proper use of the Information and Communication Technologies in the processes of communication, information management, supervision and training evaluation.
